Drum Channel is a subscription drumming school — over a thousand lesson videos, fifty courses, and masterclasses from Chad Smith, Mike Portnoy and Tony Royster Jr.

The catalogue is the problem, not the selling point. A thousand videos reads as value to the company and as drowning to a beginner who has just bought their first kit. Every learning subscription loses people the same way: they sign up full of intent, open the library, can't decide where to start, and quietly stop.

So the site never leads with the volume. It leads with fifteen minutes a day. Focus areas are a row of tabs — speed, technique, coordination, grooves, fills — so the entry point is your own weakness rather than our table of contents. Courses are levelled. The Academy is a numbered curriculum with an end.

The famous instructors do the other half of the job. Nobody subscribes out of enthusiasm for curricula; they subscribe because Chad Smith is going to teach them. Aspiration gets someone through the door, structure keeps them there, and a ninety-day guarantee absorbs the fear that they'll be the one who quits.
